Overall the race went really well; our boy Jake "The Breeze" took home a big trophy for 3rd place which was a nice bonus.  Jake has multiple nicknames as I've come to find out, which I think is a direct correlation to how fast you are. For some people it's coffee.  Some alcohol.  And some are addicted to cocaine.  My addiction though comes prepackaged in small jar. This is one of the premier stage races in the country, and an NRC event, so all the best Pro teams showed up.  I competed in the Men's 2 category with two teammates: Chad and Nick.
